Forza Horizon 6: How to Get the Toyota 2000GT Quickly

If you have just started your journey through the gorgeous roads of Japan in Forza Horizon 6, chances are the gorgeous 1969 Toyota 2000GT is high on your wishlist. It is easily one of the most iconic Japanese sports cars ever made, and the good news is that you can grab it pretty early in the game as a Barn Find.

The catch? You can’t just drive over to the spot and grab it right away. The game forces you to trigger the rumor first.

If you want to add this classic to your garage as fast as possible, here is the exact roadmap to get it done without wasting time.

Step 1: Reach "Tourist" Rank (Level 2)
If you drive straight to the barn's location at Level 1, you will just find an empty, locked building. To get the barn find rumor to actually appear on your map, you need to level up your campaign rank.

Open your campaign menu and head over to the "Discover Japan" tab to check your Collector's Journal.

You start out at Level 1 (Visitor). You need to push that up to Level 2 (Tourist).

Reaching Level 2 unlocks the "Green Stamp," which officially triggers the Для просмотра ссылок Вы должны быть авторизованы на форуме. rumor.

How to fast-track this: Don't get distracted by random driving just yet. The absolute fastest way to farm the required points is to focus heavily on the Yellow Map Markers (Story Missions). Knocking out a few Touge or traditional road races, or smashing regional mascots along the way, will get you to Level 2 in no time.

Step 2: Track Down the Hidden Barn
As soon as you hit Level 2, a purple search circle will pop up on your map. It gives you a general area, but the barn itself is tucked away pretty well.

Here is exactly where you need to go:

Region: Head to the northern section of the Ito region.

The Landmark: Look for a traditional Japanese Minka House.

The Sweet Spot: The barn is hidden right between two dirt/gravel roads near that Minka house, nestled closely among the trees.

Simply drive right up to the barn doors, and the game will automatically trigger the cutscene showing your character discovering the dusty relic.

Step 3: Wait Out the Restoration Process
Once the cutscene ends, the 2000GT is officially yours, but it is not ready to race just yet. It gets sent to your garage for a full restoration, and you have two ways to handle this:

The Free Method (Recommended): It takes about two to six hours of real-time gameplay for the mechanics to fully restore the car. Just go about your business—explore the map, complete more races, and unlock other cars. The game will notify you when it's ready, and it won't cost you a single credit.

The Instant Method: If you absolutely cannot wait, you can pay a fee in Credits (CR) to skip the timer and drive it instantly. Honestly, since this happens so early in the game when cash is tight, you are much better off saving your hard-earned CR for upgrades and just letting the timer tick down naturally.
