💻 PC Fixes (Steam & Xbox App)
1. Understand the Error Codes

When the game crashes, it sometimes shows an error code. Each one points to a specific problem:

FHC Codes – Video card or driver issues. Use a clean driver install via a utility like DDU.
FHD Codes – Out of VRAM. Reduce resolution or texture quality.
FHE01 / FHE Codes – Corrupted game files. Verify your installation (see below).
FHF Codes – RAM overload. Close all unnecessary apps before launching.
2. Verify Game Files

Broken or missing files are a common crash trigger.

Steam:

Right-click Forza Horizon 6 in your Library
Select Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files

Xbox App (PC):

Click the three dots next to the game
Select Manage → Files → Verify and Repair
3. Update Graphics Drivers & Disable Overlays

Day-one drivers from NVIDIA or AMD ensure stability. Overlays can crash the game at startup, so close apps like:

MSI Afterburner
EVGA Precision
NVIDIA App / GeForce Experience overlay
4. Fix Gaming Services Issues

If the game Для просмотра ссылок Вы должны быть авторизованы на форуме. right after the Xbox logo:

Open Terminal (Admin)

Run:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers
Reinstall Gaming Services from the Microsoft Store.
5. Check Third-Party Anti-Cheat Conflicts

Riot Vanguard and similar clients can force the game to crash. Close or uninstall them temporarily before launching.

🎮 Xbox Series X|S Fixes
1. Perform a Full Hard Reset
Hold the Xbox power button for 10 seconds until it shuts down.
Unplug the power cable for 2 minutes.
Plug it back in and restart.
2. Clear Local Saved Data

Corrupt local profiles can freeze the game mid-race:

Go to My Games & Apps → Forza Horizon 6
Press the Menu button → Manage game & add-ons
Select Saved data, choose your profile, and click Delete from console (don’t delete from everywhere).
3. Manage Storage & Quick Resume
Keep 15–20 GB free on your internal SSD.
Close the game from Quick Resume: highlight the tile, press the Menu button, and select Quit. This prevents asset-loading crashes.

Following these steps should eliminate most crashes and get you back enjoying the massive, detailed Japan map of Forza Horizon 6. Remember: always keep your system updated and avoid conflicting software during play.
